pir8-x (pi-rate x)

   pir8-x is the original technomancer. He is a champion of live, improvised electronica.

   The core of his live rig is a laptop running custom performance software called carpeDM. Other instruments/peripherals can include external MIDI synths and controllers, outboard audio effects units, a microphone, acoustic instruments... and of course, a joystick. The exact kit list varies from show to show, depending largely on pir8-x's mood ( and/or travel budget! ).
